• SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce is losing patience at a faster pace with how the SEC is regulating its space
• India started testing the digital rupee today with high expectations
• Per Bloomberg reporting Tether could be headed to a deeper dive by the US DOJ
• OpenSea was once the shining star in the NFT space, how the mighty have fallen
• Elon has made it clear that DOGE is a part of the plan…whatever that is
• Is the mighty Huobi Global is trouble?

Hester Peirce think the SEC's approach is "Just not a good way of regulating". Here is what is on my mind today.

1. I know I have touched on this several time before, but I think Hester Peirce is losing patience at a faster pace with how the SEC is regulating its space. She is against the current stance of regulation by prosecution and the ambiguity that seems to also be the norm for the agency. I am pretty sure she is making voice heard and very well could be the next Chairwoman of the SEC.

2. The digital rupee is here as testing begins today. Even though there are a good number of Cryptoverse businesses in India, the country has had a very negative approach to the industry. Testing starts today and once fully launched, the government believes it will significantly boost the economy. We shall see how it plays out…not forgetting the Cryptoverse will still be here.

3. We all know there is some baggage that comes along with Tether. Well, it would seem the DOJ is going through that baggage. Bloomberg is reporting the Department of Justice has reassigned the case to a ne team. Any problems with Tether could be catastrophic.

4. Remember when OpenSea was the biggest NFT marketplace? Well, that has changed as new marketplaces continue to pop up. OpenSea is seeing their lowest volume. I expect a further decline before any uptick. I am also expecting an uptick of specialized marketplaces as more use cases emerge.

5. It should be as no surprise that Elon has basically made it clear that DOGE is in the cards for Twitter. This caused a major spike in the price that has since abated. That said, I think the coin may be finding a new floor that is far higher than the $0.06 it had been for a while.

6. There is a lot of noise around Huobi, especially since Justin Sun is involved with the exchange. There are rumors swirling about mass resignations, including executives. Colin Wu, a well-known Chinese journalist is reporting things are awry at Huobi Global, enough so they have put out a statement that also referenced their financial stability, but did not necessarily rule out layoff plans. I think there is more to this story.
