Here's what's on my mind today.1. GME is up because the CEO bought an additional 100K shares. That tells the market he has confidence in the company and that always sends good vibes to the market. Remember when I told you about the second announcement of their NFT marketplace last week? Well, they launched their ETH NFT marketplace in coordination with Loopring. It was a big deal and Loopring went soaring on the news today. The only problem is there was some confusion about the launch because Immutable X also dropped a note about the marketplace being on their platform. GameStop had to clean it up and didn't really do a good job. They said their NFT marketplace is "currently" on Loopring and left it at that. The fact is, there was noise a couple of months back that Immutable X snatch that business from Loopring. If things play out as I think they will, GameStop is going to move to Immutable X. In any event, I would not have FOMO and dive into Loopring. I am expecting a drop. 2. In the latest exploit, Solana-native stablecoin Cashio (CASH) plummets 98% in only hours. An attacker was able to create a fake account and mint $2B worth of the coin via an infinite mint glitch. Cashio has addressed the situation and has stated they will release a postmortem as soon as possible. In the meantime, they have asked everyone to withdraw their funds from pools. The team at Cashion believes they have identified the root cause. Now to see if they can fix it fast enough to recover. 3. Well, it's finally here! Robinhood has launched its much-awaited debit card. The card is supposed to pay bonuses for crypto investments. The card is issued by Sutton Bank with a license deal with Mastercard. Robinhood is going to offer weekly bonuses to attract customers that can be between 10% and 100% of their weekly roundups and allow their clients to invest in their choice of stocks and digital assets. I am interested in seeing who and how people use this going forward. I think it is an interesting venture for the company. 4. Coinbase Cloud has built a suite of tools meant to help the developer ecosystem on the Avalanche blockchain. This means Avalanche is integrated with Coinbase Wallet. Users will be able to leverage several built-in fiat on-ramps to purchase to buy AVAX via Coinbase Wallet. I think this is yet another piece of news that will drive additional growth to the already strong Layer 1 blockchain. 5. In more good news about Avalanche coming out of the Avalanche Summit in Barcelona yesterday, blockchain payment platform e-Money is going to bring its Euro-pegged stablecoins to the Avalanche blockchain.
