Bank of America provided a glimpse of what's top of mind for fund managers at the moment, releasing the results of its global fund manager survey. Concern that the Magnificent 7 has become a crowded trade, inflation worries and Federal Reserve policy were among the key talking points among participants. The survey found that 51% of fund managers say that being long the Magnificent 7 stocks (AAPL), (AMZN), (GOOG), (GOOGL), (META), (MSFT), (NVDA), (TSLA) is the most crowded trade at the moment. The next most crowded trades, according to survey participants, included being long the U.S. dollar (DXY) at 12% and being short China equities at 11%. Looking at tailwind risks, the BofA fund manager survey showed that the largest concern focuses on high inflation, as it was listed as the number-one issue by 41% of the fund managers. The second- and third-highest tailwind risks were geopolitics and an economic hard landing at 18% and 15%, respectively.
