Gaming company Boyaa Interactive exchanged 14,200 Ethereum tokens for about 515 Bitcoin, valued at nearly $50 million. The company now holds 3,183 Bitcoin, worth $310 million. This move is part of a broader plan to invest in digital assets, with Boyaa previously committing to investing up to $100 million in cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, other companies, such as Metaplanet and MicroStrategy, have also been increasing their Bitcoin holdings, with MicroStrategy recently purchasing an additional 55,500 Bitcoin worth $5.4 billion.

Japanese investment firm Metaplanet holds approximately $111 million in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is currently trading for about $97,300 as of this writing, based on CoinGecko data.

Boyaa acquired its Ethereum token holdings for $39.45 million, at an average price of $2,777 per token. Last year, Boyaa vowed to invest up to $100 million in cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins.

Metaplanet—often called Japan's MicroStrategy—has scooped up about $53 million in Bitcoin since unveiling its purchase plan for the token last April. On Thursday, the firm announced it would raise $62 million for additional Bitcoin investments.

Meanwhile, MicroStrategy announced on Monday that it bought an additional 55,500 BTC worth $5.4 billion, bringing its holdings to 386,700 Bitcoin, worth over $37 billion.

Other large public companies such as Marathon Digital Holdings have also joined the Bitcoin giant, adding to their stockpiles of the cryptocurrency in recent months.
