• Singapore is poaching Web3 companies from Japan• India is still hammering crypto and is now questioning crypto exchanges• Philippines think tank is calling for a ban on Binance• US Credit union lobby says they can do a better job than costly CBDCs (even though they have been around for decades and the problem still exists• US Office of Government Ethics says officials holding crypto should not be allowed to regulate it• Bitcoin miners have been taking it on the chin• Binance expands into Spain with Moon Tech Spain registering as a VASP• NFL says they will create a new streaming service and is looking into blockchain• Peter Schiff, famous crypto hater, says he would accept Bitcoin for the same of his Euro Bank that is currently in receivership due to alleged tax evasion and money launderingThere is more going on. Here is what else that is on my mind.1. At a country level, Singapore is poaching Web3 companies from Japan. India is still hammering crypto companies, especially exchanges. Philippines think tank is calling for a ban on Binance. They say Binance has been supposedly providing services to Filipinos without being licensed to do so for years. Brazil busts a crypto laundering gang using crypto to launder money from illegal gold mining. US credit union lobby says credit unions can do a better job than that "hypothesized benefits" of a US CBDC. US Office of Government Ethics is recommending officials holding crypto should not be allowed to work on industry policies. 2. Bitcoin Miners have been taking it on the chin as of late and it could get worse with some cutting staff and even some having to liquidate some assets. 3. On the heel of the bad news out of Philippines, Binance is expanding into Spain with its subsidiary, Moon Tech Spain having registered with the Bank of Spain as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP). 4. Something that is seems to be sliding under the radar is the news we got from the NFL. Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the NFL, says the NFL is going to launch its own streaming service with Sunday Ticket. They are also taking a deep dive into blockchain technology, including ticket purchases. 5. As you might have guessed that is a mass exodus of Terra projects. It would seem Polygon is the beneficiary of the exodus. 6. I am cracking up after learning that Peter Schiff, famed crypto hater, is willing to accept Bitcoin for his failed Euro Bank. You know, the one accused of month laundering and tax evasion that is now in receivership.
