• Solana NFT minting rises 80% and OpenSea announces April launch of Solana NFT support• ShibaDex is live and brings the Shiba Inu project into the metaverse with this new decentralized exchange• LayerZero Labs raises $135M from the likes of Andreessen, FTX, Sequoia, PayPal Ventures, Coinbase and Uniswap Labs to create an Omnichain Protocol• MetaMask integrates ApplePay and announces zero gas fees for transactionToday, I wanted to stay focused on micro events that are focused on specific projects and not the broader space. Here's what's on my mind today.1. Wondering why Solana was on fire today. It was because NFT sales rose 80% for them. They also had some good news drop from OpenSea. You will be able to get Solana minted NFTs on OpenSea. That is pretty good news. 2. Not to be outdone, Shiba Inu fans got some good news, too. They hit 3M followers on Twitter. OK OK! That is not the great news I was talking about. SHIB : The Metaverse lives with the launch of ShibaDEX! This is the making of Komodo and is a new cross-chain decentralized exchange. Leveraging Komodo's AtomicDEX API, this is the first of its kind to work with the SHIBA project. I am expecting a lot of reviews from the ShibArmy. 3. LayerZero Labs must be working on something really interesting to raise $135M from the likes of Andreessen, FTX and Sequoia. The raise will be used to build out Omnichain Protocol. This brings the company's valuation to $1B. The project is meant to bring interoperability between decentralized applications (Dapps) across blockchains. Other major players participating in the raise include PayPal Ventures, Coinbase, Uniswap Labs, to name a few. 4. Yesterday MetaMask announced ApplePay integration and gasless transactions in version 4.3.1 of their mobile wallet. This is a huge deal as the MetaMask team continues to build on their popularity of the non-custodial wallet and should definitely increase their reach into the Apple ecosystem.
