Here is what I am looking at today.1. Meta - Just to be ever more annoying the owner of Facebook has filed a trademark registration in Brazil for crypto products and services related to trading, wallets and exchanges platforms. Cointelegraph has translated the description of Meta's products and services: "Design, development and implementation of software for third-party verification services for digital currency transactions, including (but not limited to) transactions involving Bitcoin currency." I think it is going to be interesting to watch Meta continue to their pivot into the metaverse world after changing their name to shed the ill will toward their Facebook platform. 2. Back in January, StockX launched Vault NFTs. The NFTs are tied to actual products held in the Vault. I had been wondering if Nike would take offense to the this NFT play. Well, Nike is suing StockX for trademark infringement. I am wondering how this is going to play out since StockX is holding product and it seems as though the NFTs are proof of ownership. I definitely have to do a bit more research into this space. This is actually quite interesting as companies begin to defend their place across the cryptocurrency landscape. It is going to be interesting to see how this plays out since a major brand in the aftermarket space where StockX reigns supreme. Also found in the complain was a tease about upcoming NFTs from its RTFKT brand which they purchased back in December. 3. The SEC is still kicking the can down the road on Grayscale's highly anticipated Bitcoin trust and its conversion into an ETF. The SEC stated Grayscale's application failed to respond to their concerns around manipulation, liquidity and transparency in the Bitcoin market. I am sure Grayscale will respond to this latest pushback, but it is curious since the SEC has a long string of ETF rejections in the crypto space, including Bitwise and NYDIG. 4. The legendary Gene Simmons of KISS fame has laid out payment parameters for the sale of his Las Vegas mansion. The famed lead single is willing to accept fiat, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Polkadot and a few other options for his $13.5M digs. 5. A Tampa Bay home is scheduled to be the first to be sold as an NFT with a starting price of $650K. I think there will be a lot of eyes on this auction and may lay the groundwork for more to follow.Mom's Store: https://styesbypaula.com🔥 Check out my new NFT: https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0x2953399124f0cbb46d2cbacd8a89cf0599974963/70107227251895808812277070274325079555192346213643448933819430980363338383361/🚨 Full Disclaimer: This video and its contents are for informational purposes only and do not constitute an offer to sell or trade, a solicitation to buy, or recommendation for any security, cryptocurrency, or related product, nor does it constitute an offer to provide investment advice or other related services by Eddie Jay on Crypto.
