There are macro and micro events happening that are going to have long legs. Here is what is on my mind today.1. FedNow has incorporated Hedera Hashgraph's Dropp micropayment technology in a partnership to settle retail transactions. This is a very big deal and HBAR surged a little to reflect it. We should be paying attention to macro events like this. They have very long legs. If you own a business and are not already involved in crypto, I think we need to speak about adoption and growth. In a recent poll on X, Fidelity asked what new bill denomination people would want. Overwhelmingly, people chose Bitcoin. 2. India is making moves just ahead of the BRICS Summit. They just completed their first Rupee for oil deal. I know this is not a big deal in and of itself, but it is a major step in their march to globalize the use of the Rupee. There is also news hitting that BRICS could become a rival to the G7. I would find that to be interesting considering the divergence of the BRICS economies. They are so vastly different that the creator of BRICS does not think a common currency for them is absurd. 3. There is big proof that PayPal in involved in crypto for the long haul and, more importantly, they are eyeing long term growth. They have brought in Alex Chriss from Intuit to be their new CEO. This is a big deal because MR. Chriss is credited with a good amount of Intuit's success. I think this could spell good things for the Fintech. 4. I know that the Polygon team has not been saying much, but that doesn't mean they aren't hard at work. As Y00ts leaves to go directly to Ethereum to merge communities with DeGods, the Reddit community is piling on to Polygon with Collectible Avatars. Holders get to enjoy special features on Reddit, bringing value to actually having and holding an NFT from this collection. Immutable just launched their zkEVM testnet. As you know, that is Polygon tech being leveraged on one of the hottest projects in their space. 5. With over 332M SAND about to be unlocked, I am expecting its downward fall to continue for some time. I have not heard much from what used to be a high flying Web3 platform. Don't get me wrong. I am still a fan, I just see a lot more opportunities to get in over the next period of time. Meanwhile, Zynga drops Sugartown onto the Blockchain. I think they have the potential to revive the Metaverse space and I hope the rest of the space, including Gala, can take advantage of it. 6. Not to be left out, Chainlink completes their integration of Base, the Layer 2 from Coinbase. This is a very big deal as it allows developers to leverage the Chainlink data feeds in addition to other Web3 products and services.
