The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance has approved the merging of Fetch.AI’s FET, SingularityNET’s AGIX, and Ocean Protocol’s OCEAN into the new ASI token, with an anticipated combined value of $7.5 billion upon completion in May. The distinct projects within the alliance will retain autonomy, and community disputes will be resolved through voting by token stakers. Following the merger, FET will be renamed to ASI with a new total supply of 2.63 billion tokens, while AGIX and OCEAN tokens will convert to ASI at specific rates. The Alliance emphasized that the tickers for AGIX and OCEAN will be retired on exchanges, and holders are cautioned not to attempt to send the tokens to exchanges once the conversion to ASI has occurred.
