Immutable has launched The Main Quest, a rewards program offering up to $50 million worth of token rewards for players interacting with its new zkEVM network. The program incentivizes actions such as playing games like Guild of Guardians and Illuvium, using decentralized exchanges, providing liquidity, and trading Immutable NFTs.
The program, in partnership with Digital Worlds Foundation, aims to reward players exploring games in Immutable's ecosystem, which includes over 270 titles in development.
Ethereum gaming platform Immutable announced on Thursday the launch of The Main Quest —a rewards program that will incentivize players with up to $50 million worth of token rewards for playing games and interacting with its new zkEVM network.
Billed as the largest crypto gaming rewards program to date, The Main Quest will reward users of the recently launched Immutable zkEVM network—a layer-2 Ethereum gaming network built with Polygon zkEVM tech—for various actions.
This includes earning tokens rewards for playing early games on the network, including mobile role-playing game Guild of Guardians, mech shooter MetalCore, action game Illuvium, outer space combat game Space Nation Online, and MMORPG Treeverse. Not all of these games have been released yet, but further games and incentives will also be added over time.
Furthermore, Immutable zkEVM users can earn rewards for using decentralized exchanges and other apps on the network, providing liquidity for trading pools, and for trading Immutable NFTs.
Immutable President and co-founder Robbie Ferguson commented, “This is single-handedly the largest rewards program in Web3 gaming. With The Main Quest, we are showing players what they can expect when we talk about the real benefits of digital ownership.”
The program, launched in partnership with Digital Worlds Foundation, offers substantial incentives for exploring games in Immutable's ecosystem, which claims more than 270 titles currently in development. Players can immediately earn rewards by completing quests, playing games, and owning NFT collections on Immutable.
