Saison Capital, BRI Ventures, and Coinvestasi have officially launched Tokenize Indonesia, a new accelerator program aimed at identifying and supporting real-world asset (RWA) startups in the blockchain and tokenization space. This initiative runs from April to August 2025 and is designed to drive innovation and adoption of tokenized assets in Indonesia, tapping into an estimated $88 billion market potential by 2030.

The program will see selected startups conducting proofs of concept (POCs) with leading Indonesian corporations such as Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) and Telkom Indonesia. It culminates in a showcase at Asia’s largest crypto festival, Coinfest Asia, held in Bali in August 2025. The launch was announced at ONCHAIN 2025 in Bangkok, attended by over 500 industry leaders.

Qin En Looi, partner at Saison Capital, emphasized the role of blockchain technology in shaping inclusive finance and transformational financial systems despite current market volatility. BRI Ventures’ Chief Investment Officer Markus Liman Rahardja highlighted their commitment to fostering collaboration between financial institutions and technology partners to accelerate digital asset adoption and financial inclusion in Indonesia.

Steven Suhadi, founder of Coinvestasi, noted Indonesia’s position as third globally in Web 3.0 adoption with over 20 million crypto users. He pointed to rapid ecosystem growth, regulatory clarity, and increasing institutional engagement as key drivers of long-term progress.

Indonesia’s blockchain ecosystem benefits from a tech-savvy population, expanding fintech sector, growing middle class, and increasing use of digital payment infrastructure. According to the Project Wira report, developed by BRI Ventures, Saison Capital, D3 Labs, and Tiger Research, 7% of Indonesians own digital assets—surpassing the number of stock investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The report outlines vast opportunities in tokenizing digital money, commodities, bonds, carbon credits, and real estate. Startups in the Tokenize Indonesia program can apply to leverage these opportunities, supported by strong industry partnerships.

About Saison Capital: An early-stage venture capital fund focused on emerging markets and backed by Credit Saison, it invests globally in Web 3.0, fintech, and commerce startups.
